Project: Website for Linadela Interior Design (LID) As a web developer specializing in CMS, web design, and photo editing, I was tasked with creating a visually stunning and professional website for Linadela Interior Design, a Swedish-born interior architecture firm based in Marbella on Spain’s Costa del Sol. What the client wanted The client sought a modern, elegant online presence that would showcase their unique blend of Scandinavian sophistication, calming aesthetics, and innovative creativity. Founded in 2016 by Linadela, the business focuses on bringing inspirational, balanced interiors to both residential homes and commercial properties along the southern coast of Spain. They wanted the site to clearly communicate their story: starting in Marbella, successfully building a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from local to international, and establishing themselves as a reputable name on the Costa del Sol. Key elements included highlighting their pride in high-quality work, strong collaborations with selected partners, and the passion and creativity driving every project. The website needed to serve as a strong portfolio platform featuring high-quality images of their work, while maintaining a luxurious, serene, and professional feel suitable for premium clients in the luxury interior design market. Additional requirements were full responsiveness for mobile and tablet users, easy navigation for browsing projects and services, fast loading times (especially important for image-heavy content), and integration with their visual identity. What was delivered I built a custom, high-performance website using a modern CMS (WordPress with custom theme development) to allow the client easy updates to their growing portfolio. The design emphasized clean lines, ample white space, and a calming color palette inspired by Scandinavian minimalism combined with Mediterranean luxury. Web Design: Created a fully responsive, visually driven layout with smooth animations, intuitive menu structure, and dedicated sections for About Us (including founding story and philosophy), Services, Portfolio/Projects (categorized by residential/commercial), and Contact. Photo Editing & Optimization: Handled professional photo editing and optimization of their extensive image library — color correction, cropping, retouching, and compression — to ensure stunning visuals without sacrificing load speed. Implemented lazy loading, WebP format support, and responsive image sizes for optimal performance across devices. Additional Features: Integrated a dynamic project gallery with filters, lightbox viewing for detailed images, SEO optimization (meta tags, alt texts, structured data for images/projects), multilingual readiness (English/Swedish/Spanish potential), and secure forms for client inquiries. Added subtle interactive elements like hover effects on project thumbnails to enhance user engagement. The final result is a sophisticated, image-centric website that perfectly captures the essence of Linadela Interior Design: creativity, passion, and timeless elegance. Delivered on schedule, the site has helped strengthen their brand presence, attract high-end clients, and showcase their impressive portfolio effectively, receiving excellent feedback for both aesthetics and functionality.
